Great stuff, the SAS stylus for the V15 III simply rules. I had the V15 V XMR at home for a while, but I prefer the combination of the III with this SAS stylus in my Thorens TD160 with SME arm. Worth every penny. Recommended - give it a try.

Great needle VN-35HE SAS/B. It is "bomb"! I recommend to all the holders of vintage cartridges!

I have a Thorens TD 145 MKII with TP62 cell holder and of course a Shure V15 type 3 cell. Changing the stylus is easy and is perfectly suited. At first glance, we notice the delicacy of the cantilever and the tip, the work is remarkable. You will have to be very careful with usage, but this is the case for all reading tips. Once the adjustments have been made (verification with a protactor), we enjoy a remarkably fine sound, the treble is more precise, the bass gain in depth and are firmer. The gain is improved and the stereo image becomes larger.
In summary, this is a very beneficial investment. I hesitated between changing cells or changing the stylus by a Jico SAS. I do not regret my choice, because what price would I have had to invest to obtain such a result? A big thank you to Jico and the whole team!

just installed the one I bought on a V15 mark 3, it sounds amazing, rich with fantastic "stage"

WOW! I did some critical listening using my original Shure V15 III stylus vs. this new JICO SAS and the SAS beats the original hands down. I'm not sure if it needs a little time to break in but right out of the box it sounds fantastic. Highs are clean and bright without any shrill, Base is smooth without being dull or muted, Mids have a nice presence. Vocals are very clean and precise.

If you are on the fence on your purchase this now beats my Ortofon blue, might even give the black a run for money and the SAS costs much less!

I received my new stylus a few days ago.

I have been using an almost new original Shure elliptical stylus which I purchased in a sealed box from a friend recently. It is an original 1970’s Shure stylus. I was very happy with this stylus.

The new JICO SAS stylus sounds even better; in fact it is a lot better. The sound is more transparent and the top end is more open and extended. I’m really pleased that I purchased this stylus and will have no hesitation in purchasing my next stylus from JICO.

Wow, sounds great, all the highs have come back. worth every cent., money well spent.

This is a seriously good stylus! In my V15 III, it replaced an Ortofon OM40 Super with van den Hul stylus (a $AUD450 waste of money in comparison) in my no.3 turntable, a Yamaha YP800. Now it is seriously vying for no.1 spot in my affections against a Shure V5xMR and Ortofon VMS20E MkII in the other two 'tables. It offers totally secure tracking, hugely impressive detail and dynamics, and smooth non-fatiguing sound. What more could one ask for? Moreover, when I initially had troubles (not stylus-related as it turned out) Jico could not have been more helpful in trying to sort them out. All my future replacement styli will, if possible, now be Jico SAS!

This is a follow-up on my previous review of the VN35HE SAS. The stylus seems to finally have broken in and is now performing fantastically. It is a joy to listen to even old, used records. Initially (for the first few hours of playing), I felt it was picking up too many clicks and pops. But all that is past and now the stylus is giving me extremely satisfying results. Thank God I went for this SAS. Excellent.

Great stylus to play new records. However, if you play slightly used ones with this stylus, chances are that it will pick up the slightest irritating noise also. Plus, it takes some time to break in, as most of the good styli do.

Completely better than a VN35E original elliptical stylus from the 70's. Mid-range frequencies are so much better now. Vocals are very clean now. The Shure and Dual listing of VN35HE SAS style, are the same item, I asked Jico. 100% satisfied. A++

The best aftermarket stylus I have ever tried for my Shure V15 type III. Sound quality is excellent and very near to a genuine Shure VN35MR.

The SAS stylus is amazing with the v15 III. You owe it to yourself to try one! My v15 III has never sounded better. This cartridge now gets more plan than my LOMC.

I use both the original super track + stylus from Shure and this one from JICO, on my Rega P3 the JICO sounds really better with more living details than the Shure. It is a real bargain as the original Shure Stylus VN35 cost much more , if you can find one new, than the SAS from JICO. I will not hesitate a second to buy another one SAS when mine is used.

If you are looking for a replacement stylus for your V15III, leave all those aftermarket
ones alone and buy this one!
Defintitely better than my VN35HE from Shure.

The quality of this stylus is unreal!! Better than every single replacement stylus I have tried with the V15 III. I do not hesitate to say it is better than the original. If you have a Shure V15 III then you need this stylus right now!!!

Skeptical at first, I must say, this stylus puts my Ortofon Super OM20 to shame. It's so detailed. Mids are clear and focused. I'm using it on my Shure VIII cartridge with Technics 1200 turntable. It has transformed the sound from my vinyl and made it sound like Live music. SAS is definately worth the money in my opinion. Highly reccomended!

Being a user of regular German/Swiss remakes (those that we can find on Ebay) the difference is simply astonishing! I can advice anyone who has an interest in analogue sound reproduction to try this beauty.
