Super Analog Stylus (SAS) Profile Tip
The tip of the is carefully chosen from single-crystal natural diamonds. The laser-cut diamond closely resembles that of the cutting stylus used on a cutting lathe to produce the acetate master disks used in vinyl production. This allows the SAS tip to reach into the deepest recesses of the record groove in order to retrieve details which were previously inaccessible to other stylus profiles. Due to its wide contact area with the groove wall, the SAS can reproduce a more expansive bandwidth of information with higher fidelity.
Cantilever
is one of the most suitable materials for cantilevers. its density is low, Young’s modulus is large, and the speed of sound propagation is approximately 2.6 times faster than that of aluminum. Due to the characteristics above, boron cantilever can more precisely trace the information contained in the record grooves than aluminum cantilever.
There is NO interchangeability between VN5MR and VN5xMR. Please confirm your cartridge / stylus number and select suitable stylus.

When I bought it last January, I didn’t satisfied with it’s sound very much like other reviewers. BUT today I’m actually able to say this stylus is wonderful thing.
I’m using it with Technics sl1200mk2, creek OBH-18MM phono amp and I have another gear – VPI Scout, Denon DL160 with ElectroCompaniet Phono. I think SAS v15vmr is more powerful and precise than denon DL160. hmm, dust easily gathers on VN5MR compare to original stylus. this is only one waht I want to say to JICO to make it better than now. Thanks JICO

Excellent fit and performance on the P-mount V15-V-SR found on the Revox B791. Fits like a factory stylus. No ugly wobble or overhang like the V15-III stylus. Really superb. Still breaking it in, but trackability, linearity, output, FR, balance & crosstalk are all excellent across 4 different test records. Sound is right up there with the best I’ve heard. Strong output, so very low noise. Balanced, good depth.

All I can say is I am glad to find this stylus. It improves upon a great stylus and upholds it’s “budget reference” status. The lows sound cleaner and tighter not as “plumy” as the original. The midrange is superb and the highs sound more pristine and transparent.
Check out Freddie Hubbard’s trumpet on Stanley Clark “If this bass could only talk” LP. Incredible highs, he must be hitting a double high c or even higher. I used to play trumpet and can really appreciate the sound.
Kudos to Jico for this superb stylus.
