Super Analog Stylus (SAS) Profile Tip
The tip of the is carefully chosen from single-crystal natural diamonds. The laser-cut diamond closely resembles that of the cutting stylus used on a cutting lathe to produce the acetate master disks used in vinyl production. This allows the SAS tip to reach into the deepest recesses of the record groove in order to retrieve details which were previously inaccessible to other stylus profiles. Due to its wide contact area with the groove wall, the SAS can reproduce a more expansive bandwidth of information with higher fidelity.
Cantilever
is one of the most suitable materials for cantilevers. its density is low, Young’s modulus is large, and the speed of sound propagation is approximately 2.6 times faster than that of aluminum. Due to the characteristics above, boron cantilever can more precisely trace the information contained in the record grooves than aluminum cantilever.
There is no difference at all between the VN35 SAS [e007444] and the VN35HE SAS [e007446] versions. Technically speaking, they are identical.We just use the naming conventions of the originals to make them easier for customers to find.

I live in Australia and have purchased several styli for my cartridges over the last few years.
Including the Jico SAS VN35
They are a superb buy and I’ve never had a problem with postage.
Items have always arrived promptly and well packed.

I finally found a replacement for my original Shure VN35MR stylus. This is even better than the original and at a better price. Tracking is as confident as the original in my SME 3009 arm and the sound on all the LPs I have tried has been outstanding: no trace of hardness in the treble response and great depth to the bass.
Jico gave me precise dates for delivery and kept me up to date with e mails. Their service was excellent: I can heartily recommend them.

What a great stylus…Records play quieter, less crackles and pops. Don’t know how this is achieved but it is….
Less distortion, more of a sound stage, I can hear instruments I couldn’t hear before. Voices are clear, can’t recommend this stylus highly enough.
Compared to Ed Saunders: Ed 5 out of 10. Jico 10 out of ten.
I waited four weeks for this stylus to be delivered believe me it was well worth the wait. Brilliant.
